Get comfortable, sit back and relax, and take a few slow, deep breaths. Try to imagine if you will: Your plane is about to land. You are so excited. You have been waiting a long time for this. Keep breathing slowly and deeply. As you look out the window you see the West Maui Mountains on one side and the huge, mysterious slopes of Haleakala on the other. Sugar cane fields are dancing in the wind. Finally you are here. You have arrived in paradise. You are going to leave all your cares and worries behind for a brief moment in time. As you exit the plane, the sun and the fresh, warm, balmy, tropical air touches your face. Could this really be Paradise? Are there really flowers growing everywhere like you have always heard? You enter the airport and you are greeted by your chauffeur (he or she, whichever you prefer). A lei is placed on your shoulders and you are given a kiss on both cheeks. You then procede to your beautiful white stretch limousine. As your luggage is being collected, you just sit back and relax. Your driver hands you a nice cool, refreshing Mai Tai to enjoy on your ride across the island to your fabulous resort. The drive is a short but beautiful experience. You pass through a tunnel of tall green trees that border the vast sprawling fields of sugar cane. Your Limo pulls up in front of your resort and you can hardly believe your eyes. Entering the lobby, you see that it opens onto a terrace that overlooks the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean. There are palm trees swaying in the mild warm trade winds. You can smell the flowers that are growing everywhere. You can see several other Hawaiian Islands off in the distance. You feel completely peaceful as you begin to unwind and Hang-Loose. This really is Paradise. |
